My story
Having lived most of my life with GAD (generalized anxiety disorder) it's quite difficult to unpack in a few sentences the dimensions on how it affects me, how it shapes me... I often feel that for others I will come across as 'normal' and few people can even minimally grasp how challenging it is to live inside my brain!
Pretty much every single day I have periods of intense worrying, fear, feeling on the edge followed by exhaustion (the more I yawn more I can tell my GAD is on a high!)
Topics on what I am worrying about are truly varied and my creative brain has no boundaries: Diseases and shocking fates are at the very top list, though H&S of family and friends, work & career progression, being a failure, money, football, etc.
I don't usually get the chance to really talk about it or share my stories. When I am feeling stressed I do like to surf on the internet and understand if it's just me or are there other "odd ducks" out there?
So decided to create a blog when I can share you regularly what GAD means to me in my daily life!
Hope you like it!
